Simply Rajasthan Heritage Tour

Delhi
Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
Arrive at Delhi. Upon arrival, the company representative welcomes you with
garland and assists, escorts you to the respective hotel. Enjoy a welcome
drink at hotel and Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel be ready for the treasures ahead. A guided
tour of the city takes you to the sumptuous Mughal monuments of Red fort
and Jama Masjid. At Rajghat and India Gate you will be amidst the foliage.
In later half of the day you will visit the fabulous sights- Rashtrapati
Bhavan, The Mughal Gardens, Qutab Minar and many more. Evening hold more
excitement, as you will be viewing the sound and light show at the Red Fort.
Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi - Agra 210 km/05 hrs
Morning, get ready for the enthralling rail ride for Agra. Your breakfast
will be onboard. Enjoy the window-view of lush green farms and the farmers
busy in harvesting their crops, indeed, it is sceneric. Within two hours
you are in the marble city - Agra. Check-in your pre-booked Hotel. Post
lunch awaits a visit to the spectacular Agra Fort, a magnificent colossal
carved out of red sand stone, other attraction of the fort is the most royal
view of Taj, standing at a distance of just 2 kms. It increases your lust
and temptations of viewing this charismatic marvel from the close quitters.
Be patient, the magic charm is just a hand away. The magic of golden rays
of evening sun bestowing on the 'Taj' definitely cast a spell on you. Don't
forget to capture this lifetime moment into your handy-cam. Pay a special
attention on the scripts written on marble walls, your eyes are sure to
get illumined as the words seems to be of same size but in actual they are
not. Back to the hotel, find yourself with Taj again in your dreams. Overnight
stay at Agra.
Day 04: Agra - Jaipur 230 km/05 hrs
On our way to Jaipur we stop over at Fatehpur Sikri. Though the city is
in ruins the sunset over the ruins is a sight to cherish. Exploring "Panch
Mahal", you will have the opportunity to have a panoramic view of this
imperial city with its buildings, palaces, and the courtyards linking them.
You can enjoy the architectural beauty of the city while visiting Diwn-I-Aam,
Diwani-Khas and the Pachisi Court. We then continue our trip to Jaipur.Overnight
stay at Jaipur.
Day 05: Jaipur Sightseeing
One of the most promising days of the tour will begin with an early breakfast.
This is the day to have a look-in into the architectural beauty of the Pink
City. An elephant safari up the hills to the Amber Fort will make you feel
royal. Sightseeing amidst the stunning backdrop of ancient forts Nahargarh,
Amer, Jagarh and Moti Dungri are the reminder of their lingering romance
and valour. Towards the evening we head for the colourful bazaars and streets
of Jaipur. You can shop for jewelleries as the city is famous for precious
and semi-precious stones, particularly diamonds, topaz and emeralds. Stop
over at Apno Gaon, where you can enjoy the traditional Rajasthani food.
Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 06: Jaipur - Jodhpur Road 280 km/06 hrs
After breakfast proceed to Jodhpur. Reach Jodhpur and check into hotel.
Located at the border of the Thar Desert the city was once the capital of
the Marwar State. The main attraction of the city Mehrangarh Fort looms
on the top of a rocky hill, at a height of 125m. In the afternoon visit
Mehrangarh Fort (1459 AD), it houses many miniature paintings & cradle
room followed by a visit to Jaswant Thada Memorial. Overnight will be at
Jodhpur.
Day 07: Jodhpur - Udaipur 250 km/05hrs
Morning drive to Udaipur. Visit Ranakpur en route Paying visit to the famous
Jain Temple, is the part of the itinerary. The unique feature of the are
its 200 unique pillars, none of which are alike supporting its 29 halls
embellished with intricate carving and sculptures. Reach Udaipur and check
in at hotel.
The city of Dawn, Udaipur is a lovely land around the azure lake, hemmed
in by the lush hills of the Aravallis. Its fairy-tale palaces, shimmering
blue lakes, temples, gardens and narrow lanes strewn with stalls, carry
the flavor of a heroic past, epitomizing valor and chivalry. Their reflection
in the placid waters of the Lake Pichhola is an enticing sight. Overnight
will be at Udaipur.
Day 08: Udaipur Sightseeing Tour
After enjoying the delicious Rajasthani cuisine proceed for your sightseeing
tour of Udaipur. Morning first destination will be the royal City Palace.
Here you will marvel at room's decor with mirrored walls and ivory doors
colored glass windows and inlaid marble balconies and the Peacock Courtyard.
After lunch start your journey for Lake Pichola. Proceed for Evening Motor
launch cruise on the lake. From the boat you will be able to view the city
of Udaipur as it rises majestically above the lake in the middle of the
Rajasthan desert. Next visit the Jag Mandir Palace - the other island palace
in the middle of the lake. Spend some time at the Jag Mandir Palace. Visit
the 300-year-old Jagdish Temple and the Royal Cenotaphs of the Rajput kings.
Overnight will be at Udaipur.
Day 9: Udaipur - Pushkar
After breakfast drive to pushkar. En-route Ajmer, pay your homage at the
holy pilgrim of Muslims- the Dargah Sharif Tomb of the Sufi saint Khwaja
Moinuddin Chisti, which is equally worshiped by the Hindus and Muslims.
After lunch proceed to Pushkar. Check in at Pushkar Palace.
Visit the famous Brahma Temple the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma
in the world. Blessed with cultural blends, it is the venue for the famous
Pushkar Fair, with people coming from all over Asia to buy and sell cattle
of breeds from across the world. Visit the Ghats as the city has beautiful
52 bathing Ghats and 500 temples each having its own miraculous qualities
and powers of healing and with varied architectural styles. In the evening
visit the Rose Garden of Rajasthan famous for its rose essence, the Pushkar
rose is also exported to the world. Overnight at Pushkar.
Day 10: Pushkar - Kishangrah - Delhi (By Road 352km/07 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Kishangarh. Kishangarh is on the National Highway
8 in the Center of Rajasthan, 100 Km South West of Jaipur. It is primarily
known for its world famous Miniature Paintings and Handicrafts and for the
largest marble and granite cutting industry in the Country. Other attractions
of the city are the fort of Kishangarh, Phool Mahal (Palace of the flowers)
for the Maharaja's of Kishangarh. A private residence of the Royal Family
of Kishangarh opens for the discerning traveler. The Palace has lovely views
of centuries old "Gundalao Lake" - is a paradise to flamingoes,
pelicans, wild duck and the sarus (crane).
Afternoon drive Start for Delhi and reach by evening. You will be transfer
to the airport for your home destination.
